Our Burner Revamp Process

Stage 2: Vapor Horning for Hard Scale Removal

After loose scale removal, burners are put into our vapor horning machine to eliminate hard scale on both the outer diameter (O.D.) and inner diameter (I.D.). This process is crucial for restoring the burner's original surface conditions.

Stage 3: Magnaflux Inspection

With all loose and hard scales removed, we perform a magnaflux inspection to detect any cracks or thin spots on the burner's O.D. and I.D. This non-destructive testing method ensures we identify potential weaknesses that could affect performance.

Stage 4: Repairs and Welding

Any identified cracks or thin spots are meticulously repaired, with welds performed on both the O.D. and I.D. to restore the burner to its optimal condition.

Stage 5: Final Inspection and Documentation

After all repairs, burners undergo a final inspection to ensure quality. They are then palletized, shrink-wrapped, and accompanied by a detailed report. Each burner is assigned a unique tracking number within our maintenance program, allowing us to monitor performance and reliability over time.
